The Columbus Urban League is a community‐based, non‐profit, advocacy organization. Founded in 1918, the Columbus Urban League is an affiliate of the National Urban League and stands as one of the largest and most prestigious community‐based organizations in Central Ohio. Ranked 7th in the 98‐affiliate network of the Urban League movement nationally, the Urban League is one of the oldest organizations in the United States, promoting equal and equitable access to resources.

The mission of the Columbus Urban League is to empower African Americans and disenfranchised groups through economic, educational and social progress. As a premier customer-driven organization working to empower individuals and deliver transformational services with integrity, innovation and collaboration, the Columbus Urban League is committed to being the preferred provider to families, communities, stakeholders and philanthropic entities.
