#4. Jesse Owens Jog
Where: Race starts at North Bank Park
Time: 10:00AM
Now in its fourth year, the Jesse Owens Jog is a 2.62-mile fun run/walk held in partnership with the Columbus Urban League and the King Arts Complex and focuses on African-American health and wellness. It also pays tribute to Owens, an Ohio native who ran for and graduated from The Ohio State University and won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics. Proceeds benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s infant mortality efforts, the Columbus Urban League, the King Arts Complex and the Jesse Owens Foundation.

Join us for a 60 minute experience with Replenish Spa grounded in powerful conversation, guided meditation and ending with a restorative savasana. Please bring a journal and pen or pencil. The meditation session offers space and time to download thoughts and opportunities to write down new inspiration.

#2. Smart Grocery Shopping Tour with Local Matters

Are you looking to save money on groceries? Want to eat healthier? Would love to meal prep but don’t know where to start? Join us in a guided grocery store tour that provides tips and strategies to stretch food budgets while buying healthy food. We will learn about buying fruits and veggies on a budget, comparing unit prices, reading food labels and identifying whole grain foods. At the end of the tour, all attendees will compete in a shopping challenge and the winner won’t go home empty handed!

#3. Yoga Hike with Jenai (@goddessglowlife)
Where: Hocking Hills State Park
Time: 9:00AM
Join us as we welcome the crisp air, take in the changing leaves and the smell of Fall in a Columbus yoga hike. The 1mi, 1.5 hr experience will be a combination of hiking and 2 – 3, 15 minute stops for yoga. Be sure to dress comfortable (closed toe shoes) and bring a water bottle but feel free to leave your mat at home.
