National Day of Empowerment is upon us! The impact of coronavirus has been vast and devastating; its impact on public health and the economy is felt across our country and globe. Communities of color have been affected the hardest. Our response to the pandemic must be to empower communities by providing our communities with the authority, resources, and information to thrive. This year we are focused on rethinking and retooling for sustainability focused on the five pillars of empowerment. We will be hosting a Libations and Conversations this Wednesday at 6pm to discuss ways we can empower our community in a post-pandemic world economically politically, socially and more.
