The National Urban League movement began with talented and passionate young people looking for an opportunity to make a difference. Your opportunity to continue that legacy as well as start your own begins now. CULYP is looking for a very talented pool of young professionals to help in leading this movement.
A free family-friendly cookout style event where YPs showcase their dedication to service during the YP Empowerment Cookout. We will provide an opportunity to give children the supplies that they need to succeed in their education for the upcoming school year. There will be a variety of school and health resources for families and future community leaders. While simultaneously communing over grilled food, drinks and music.

The Columbus Urban League Young Professionals will host our 3rd YP Empowerment Summit, a one-day professional development conference designed to provide Central Ohio young professionals and Millennials with the tools needed to enhance their respective career paths. Columbus Urban League Young Professionals and Growing and Growth Collective Present: Cooking For Funds. A cooking class that embraces the African Diaspora and raises scholarship funds for high school and college students within Columbus, Ohio.

Join the YP’s as we service the community with Blankets For The Homeless before the Super Bowl. We will meet at the Main Library campus in meeting room 1C to pass out blankets and sandwiches to individuals in the area at the time. It is a mix of inside and outside service, weather permitting.
