About the Shift from Besa…
Volunteers will be educated by CULYP about the history of Juneteenth and some of Columbus' cultural richness, followed by an engaging paint and sip featuring exclusively designed tote bags by artist Joy Creates to be donated to Mt. Olivet's Umoja Juneteenth Block Party, accompanied by healthy mocktails and popsicles from Too Good Eats!
Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that makes them feel best.
Free parking is available in the lot directly in front of the Shine Bright Community Center.
Upon arrival, volunteers should enter the main door and turn left, walking until you access the large meeting room. You will have someone to guide you.
This volunteer experience is ADA accessible.
At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
