Join us on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM at Mayme Moore Park & the Columbus Urban League lotfor the Community Block Party & Back 2 School Giveaway — a free, family-centered celebration of service, culture, and community care.

Hosted by Columbus Urban League Young Professionals (CULYP) in partnership with Things That Matter, Nnaem & Friends, and Aisle Six Collective, this event is a vibrant close to the summer season — blending school readiness with neighborhood love.

🎒 Backpack & School Supply Giveaway
We’re distributing 100+ backpacks filled with essential school supplies to prepare local students for the year ahead. We’re also collecting classroom items to support teachers at a school in need.

✂️ Fresh Cuts & Community Resources
Enjoy free haircuts, access to in-kind resources, wellness vendors, voter registration education, and hands-on activities for all ages.

🎶 Block Party Energy All Day
From 12–3 PM, we focus on school supply distribution and community services. From 3–5 PM, kick back and vibe with some of Columbus' top DJs, and more.

🛠 Volunteer & Donation Opportunities
We’re welcoming school supply donations and monetary gifts through our QR code and PayPal link. All contributions go directly to supporting local students, teachers, and the overall experience.
