Opportunities for leadership for the CULYP 2027 – 2029 Executive Leadership Team are now available.
Applications for Officer Positions will be open Tuesday, August 11, 2026 - August 21, 2026.
There will be an informational meeting hosted by President White on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 7pm via invitation. Learn more about each position and have the opportunity to ask questions.
We hope that you consider taking on a leadership role to help CULYP continue to lead to ellevate.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for any leadership role within CULYP, any applicant must be a current, paid and active member of CULYP.
Process & Timeline
Step One: Complete the leadership application, which can be accessed here. All applications must be submitted no later than August 21, 2026, 11:59PM. Upon completion of the leadership application, please submit your headshot, resume and a brief bio to culyp.president@cul.org no later than August 21, 2026, 11:59PM.
Step Two: Select a day and time to participate in an in person meeting with the screening committee. The available dates and times for an interview will are provided in the application. Virtual interviews will take place August 24th- September 1st.
Step Three: All applicants selected by the screening committee to move forward in the election process will be announced September 4th. A statement of intent from each applicant selected by the screening committee to move forward in the election process will be listed on the CULYP website and each applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in a candidates forum September 9th and September 17th and provide remarks at the annual business meeting on September 24th at 6P.
Step Four: CULYP Members will have the opportunity to vote online from September. 17th – September 23rd.
Step Five: New CULYP Officers Elects will be announced on September 28th
